Melissa Chavarri is an Associate Attorney at Di Pietro Partners where she manages cases in both Federal and State Courts. She focuses her practice in complex litigation, medical malpractice, healthcare law, products liability, and general civil litigation.
Melissa graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree. During law school, Melissa worked for the North Carolina Department of Justice in the Department of Motor Vehicles Division. During her tenure, she assisted and advocated on behalf of the Department throughout the state of North Carolina in the revocation of drivers’ licenses. Moreover, while at the Department of Justice, she prepared several criminal appellate briefs for the Department, which led to favorable decisions for the Department and the State of North Carolina. Additionally, during her third year of law school, Melissa worked for a reputable Plaintiff firm in South Florida where she assisted in the representation of medical providers in personal injury protection matters.
While in law school, Melissa was a member of the St. Thomas Mock Trial Team and served as Articles Editor for the Journal of Complex Litigation. Prior to attending law school, Melissa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts.
